Meal or Discount Voucher?

Had my dinner with siblings at KimGary@The Curve last night and bought the-so-called '2010 Free Meal Vouchers'.

The situation was:
My sister was paying the bill and the waiter was persuading her to buy the new 2010 Free Meal Voucher. After several minutes explanation, my sister decided to buy it. So we approached her and had a look on the Free Meal Voucher but I found that - It is mainly a Discount Vouchers instead of Free Meal Vouchers. So I purposely asked my another sister, who is merely standing at there waiting for going home.

The-so-called Free Meal Vouchers

and a birthday 50% discount voucher

Me: I thought there is a difference between Meal Voucher and Discount Voucher? And I think these should be Discount Voucher but not MEAL VOUCHER.
Sis: Yeap. There is a difference. And the main purpose they named it as Free Meal Voucher is to cheat customer so that they will buy it. (with a high speed and loud voice)

Bosco Wong looks really Kim Gary

So we walked out the restaurant with the Free Meal Voucher. Immediately I asked my sister:
Me: Wow! No need to shoot them so much eh?
Sis: Did I? (thinking back what she said just now) Oops! I did it unintentionally!

I was like...o-k-a-y! Anyway, there are quite a lot of 20% discount voucher - it is still worthwhile.

Here is the new song:

Photobucket
The question now is,
Which version I should buy?!

Superman

Aaaawwwwwwwwwww! Jay new song - 超人不会飞 is here! I superbly absolutely totally ultimately like the chorus part! Others, erm, I need to playback twice or thrice. Anyway, here is the song:

The lyrics, is quite long, but kind of..meaningful although some of them is a bit sarcastic. I'll just copy some of them.

"得奖时你感动落泪
人家就会觉得你夸张做作
你没表情别人就会说太嚣张
结果最后是别人在得奖
你也要给予充分的掌声与微笑"
True indeed. This is what happened nowadays. I don't know why and how people thinking, normally they just like to believe lies but not truth. Including me myself too. When you telling the truth, they will interpret it as lies.

"开的车不能太好
住的楼不能太高"
That's why I always say - Jealousy kills. And this is one of the characteristics of human being. Can't help it but you have to get use or adapt with it.

Okay, whatever it is, according to Wikipedia,

Jay is going to release his album on
14th of May!!!

What a happening MAY!!

CHEERS!

Ko Hyang @ The Gardens

Okay! I admit that I'm bias, I LOVE KOREAN CUISINE! I went for korean cuisine even tea time and order as if I'm having lunch. Hahaha! Anyway, went The Gardens right after my class with my sister as we were starving we saw that The Gardens still have a lot of parking bays.

And this was our destination:

Ko-Hyang

Right beside the stall, there was a function - Just Life. It's all about Save the Earth though. I was so impressed with the featuring activity. It was so damn cool.

*Paint on me!*

I like this picture the most and for no reason,
This is my new lappy background!

Aren't they are somehow too artistic yet cool?

I truly like the artistic way they present it. I feel like wanted to join them, not as the one who paint on them, but I want to be painted, but certainly with a mask, then I'm okay with it. Seriously, I have an sudden impulse to join them at that moment! So if next time if anyone of you need volunteer for such activity, don't forget to ask me! Teeeeheee!

Anyway, let's go back to the food.
Appetizer

Kimchi soup served with white rice

Kimchi fried rice with an egg on top

Seaweed soup served with fried rice

And my conclusion is:

DON'T EVER GO TO THIS PLACE
AND REPEAT MY ORDER TODAY!

You may do it if you wish or desperate for superbly sour food that day!

Anyway, I'm smart enough to get my dessert somewhere else - Shojikiya. It usually appears right beside either Zanmai Sushi or Sakae Sushi. And proudly introduce my dessert:

Taaaaaa daaaaaaaaa!!!

Rum and Raisin Icecream!
Highly Recommended
It's just RM5.90 but...
you must finish it fast.

It's really very rum and very raisin =)

And this makes my tea time to be..
PERFECT!

The Very Violent Hair Dryer

Went to do my hair rebonding last Friday. I'm not suppose to wash my hair for 2 days and tie my hair for 2 weeks time. Pretty satisfied with the rebonding result but the hair care after that is a bit troublesome which leads to the disaster and reveals the violent face of a hair dryer.

The stylist told me that I must dry my hair after I wash it. Full dry is recommended and if I didn't cut my hair so frequent, it actually can stand for 1 year. So I just followed what he told me. Thus, one fine day, as usual after I washed my hair, plugged on the hair dryer, and started to dry my hair. After a few seconds,

THE HAIR DRYER IS STUCKED!

Immediately I offed the hair dryer and trying to pulled out from this thingy!

The worst part was, I can't settled it. What to do? I was alone in the room. No choice, I actually phoned my sister which in the next room. She took quite a long time, in the sense of not 10 seconds, to reach my room as...SHE JUST CAN'T STOP LAUGHING.

Ewwwwwwww! See how violent is the hair dryer! The story ends with, I was forced to cut the lump of hair which they were knotted.

My Dream Destination

Korea used to be my dream destination. Started from korea drama series, "Snow Queen" and some variety show. The most influencing factor is a visit to "SM Entertainment", but due to TVXQ which they are going to disband, I'm not so desperate anymore. ( BUT that doesn't mean BYE to KOREA! )

Happened to have 1 Maldivian classmate. I think she is sent to Malaysia as to attract more tourist to their country. AND SHE DID! Tuna in Malaysia is like..canned tuna will cost you around 5.00 bucks while at Maldives, IT'S SO DAMN COMMON! She even had STEAMED TUNA! Anyway, from what she told us, TUNA is their life, you can find tuna everywhere!

TUNA!

And she get the name: Miss Tuna!

So how about the sea? You can penetrate to the sea bed with naked eyes! And the sunset is killing, in the sense of, once for Malaysian, the sun is so adorable!
Incomparable!

Nice view uh~

You also can't leave out the AIRPORT! It is in fact an island! How smart is the Maldivian!

All photo are adapted from her facebook - and I found out this which is quite funny!

Maldivian Cabinet
MEETING UNDER THE WATER!
and the man in the photo is:
PRESIDENT OF MALDIVES!

Maldives! Please don't sink so fast! I'm coming!

My dream is getting more and more expensive!

From...Proposing to Proposed

I believe most of you had watched the movie of Sandra Bullock: The Proposal.

Still remember how Sandra Bullock proposed Ryan Reynolds?
Haha~I not really remember it but what appeared in my mind was she forced to kneel and proposed to Ryan Reynolds. [Just replace your version of story if I'm wrong]

So the question today is:
TO PROPOSE YOUR GF OR MAYBE BF,
IT A MUST TO KNEEL?

Read "The Sun" this morning and get to know some weird but funny case:

Case 1:
James went to buy an engagement ring as a surprise to his girlfriend. The credit card company, noting that he was making a larger than usual transaction, thus they HALTED the sale, FROZE the account and guess what happened the next.....

They notified the joint card holder, which happened to be..
JAMES' GIRLFRIEND!

What a joke! The pair ended up with NO RING, NO SURPRISE, NO MONEY and DEAD CREDIT CARDS.

But still, it was the happiest day of their lives.

Lesson learnt: DON'T EVER ASK OR CREATE SURPRISE.
[Andrea Lim please note that]

Case 2:
Mike, who had a furious row with his girlfriend. She was screaming that he didn't really love her.
He screamed back: "I DO love you, enough to marry you even!"
She shrieked: "Okay, then DO IT."
He yelled: "OKAY, I WILL."
And they stormed off to sign up.

Lesson learnt: You can save the cost for a ring or a candle-light dinner!

Hahahaha!!Somehow, this is what you get when you think out of BOX. And of course, you may take them as a reference =).

The Irresistible Tiramisu - Bel Pasto

Teeeeheee! Went rebonding last friday and the result was pretty satisfied. The night continued with - BEL PASTO PIZZA ITALIAN RESTAURANT...where my IRRESISTIBLE TIRAMISU located! Again, please don't jealous or hate me. Jealousy kills =).

Okay~ Let's us start with:

Spaghetti Bolognase
Looks not really nice..
Tastes...just okay.

Grilled Black Pepper Chicken Breast
Looks and tastes not really impressing

Risotto
Just like a plate of fried rice to me :(

Seafood Lasagne
Again, not impressing

AND
THE

TIRAMISU

IS
HERE...

Okay, 1st bite = Awesome!
2nd bite = Not Bad!
3rd bite = The coffee powder is kind of..too much
4th bite = Ewwww! The cake is a bit..watery
5th bite = I don't want to have 6th bite!

HAHAHAHAHAH!!It's really disappointed to be frank.
My conclusion is:
Whenever there is a hope,
There is always a disappointment.

and

Hope is always...
proportional to..
Disappointment.

That's the lesson I learnt from...a dinner!

Practically,

Just imagine how life will be without strings - String-less

It will turns into..DRUM or

Worst to worst - rotten log with mushroom on it =)

2. Clothes which without any string - Raincoat?
People will start to wear raincoat around =).
Even in a big sunny day!
How cool is it XD!!

So is it that life is fated to be totally an up-side down if there is NO strings?!

6 bucks newspaper - The EDGE

Click to explore more:
http://malaysia.youthsays.com/yingjie524/maggi-me-my-way-

Went to SHELL petrol station and they have magazine rack in "On The Run". Glanced through the magazine, and surprisingly I found that:

A weekly magazine which looks like newspaper.

PRICE: RM 6.00

Ewwwww~Nowadays not only petrol are getting expensive but also magazine :( . Sigh! Good for people like me who have no income and still need to parasite on my parents. Anyway, the paper quality of this 6 bucks newspaper-like-magazine is quite good. I should say, BEST among the rack.

Of course you can't judge the quality from the picture

But isn't it a good picture to put as desktop background?

Let's try it.

Fuhhhh!
COOL!
should consider it =)

Korean Cuisine @ DAORAE

Click to explore more:
http://malaysia.youthsays.com/yingjie524/therookie

Planned to go for the irresistible Tiramisu for dinner today but due to several reasons, I ended up with Korean Cuisine, DAORAE, Kepong Branch.

Side News: I heard that TVXQ came here before when their 2nd Asia Tour Concert 'O' @ Kuala Lumpur. Not really sure Kepong or Mont Kiara Branch but they did frame up autograph of TVXQ. Anyway, DAORAE was one of the sponsor of the KL Tour Concert.

Korean Tea is free serve and bottomless
but I don't like it.

10 korean side dishes come with any dishes you ordered.
It's actually refillable!

This is my all-time favorite

The side dishes are actually come randomly and anchovies is my all-time favorite. It would be perfect if they come with eggplants in soy sauce. And accidentally I found that,

The omelet ain't bad!

My sister ordered this: spicy soup with bean sprouts.
and with quite a lot of anchovies
It comes with white rice which ala carte cost you 5 bucks!
It's not really spicy for me.
(I had quite high tolerance towards spicy food though)

My dinner - Dry kimchi noodles
The noodles are not maggi mee texture though.
The texture is a bit like vermicelli and
the kimchi sauce is IMPRESSING!

THE FREE DESSERT TODAY:

P.A.N.C.A.K.E!

This pancake is come by chance. I had visited several times and I only get it once. It is serious delicious. After I finished this pancake, my conclusion is: I'll only come during weekdays. Weekdays have higher possibility to get a pancake! Usually I will only go at weekends and I only get watermelon. The restaurant actually named Korean BBQ Restaurant but the BBQ is minimum 2 pax.

Guess how much is the total bill amount. It's just

RM37.40 for 2 person which I found it's reasonable

And for no special reason, I think I'll go for another dinner maybe...next 2 weeks? =)

Temptation

Enjoyed to paste all the delicious and temptative links of food during midnight - especially to those who extremely hungry and those who trying to keep away themselves from supper. Out of so many links I had read and pasted last night, this is the only one, who makes me started to feel hungry!

Adapted from: http://www.vkeong.com/2010/food-drink/bel-pasto-pizzaitalian-restaurant-kepong/

Isn't it irresistible?!

I'm not a big fans of Tiramisu, but this is just simply too - I can't ignore it. And the point is, I had made up my mind - to pay a visit to the restaurant! Please don't hate or jealous with me. Jealousy kills =).

Risk of a delivery boy

Sigh! Monday is not really blues for me. In fact I'm suffering 'Friday Blues'. Sigh. Whatever it is, I checked my facebook just now and I was tagged by someone, and this reminds me on a story.

Once upon a time, Andrea, MinHui and I decided to order Mcflurry. So we called for McD delivery and the total bill was around 12.00 bucks. We started to fork out money after that. Either we were evil or it was just a coincidence, I can't really remember it, we actually paid the delivery boy around  3 to 6 ONE RINGGIT notes AND THE REST WAS...COINS! Hahahahahassss! The delivery boy was like..speechless but he still had to receive it. When I closed the door after received my Mcflurry, WE ALL BURST INTO LAUGHTERS.

Poor boy, I was wondering how he balanced himself when riding the motorbike. Hahaha! Anyway, that fella who tagged me in facebook wrote that:

"McFlurry reminded me of something stupid. Paid by RM1 notes and coins instead of 10 bucks for 3 Mcflurry upon delivery. This had put the live on the delivery man at stake on the road eg type puncture and fall into the drain because he's too heavy due to excessive amount of coins he had inside his pouch. Am I right? Andrea Lim and YingJie Ng"

Haha! This is quite true. And luckily the delivery boy didn't appear on the next day paper. If not I'll be guilty - I must be burst into laughter before that!

Encouragement

Hi~ and this is the very first post for this blog. Just simply have nothing better to do and I decided to...write something =).

Get to know Susan Boyle today. She is 48 now and was a candidate of "Britians Got Talent 2009" - and her talent was: SINGING. She is still available, currently staying with her cat, Pebbles, but she never been married and never been...kissed. This is adapted from her self-intro though.

However, audiences and judges were impressed by her powerful and attractive voice. The song she sang was "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables - can simply found in Youtube.  Since that day, the name Susan Boyle become so common and famous, but still, I only get to know today. Hahahahahasss.

So now, they are saying that, the next Susan Boyle will be this Taiwanese,

I don't know his name (but it is shown in the picture) but what I know was he has a nice voice. Gifted I should say.

The reason behind they are saying the next Susan Boyle is...obvious =). No Offence.

Last but not least,
SHE looks like a HE, but HE sounds like a SHE.

Well, such an encouraging story for my very first post. Teeeeeheeee!
